DEAR Systems

Cin7 announced a major rebranding on January 9, 2023, aligning its products under the Cin7 name. This rebranding integrates DEAR Systems as Cin7 Core and maintains Cin7 Orderhive, following their 2021 acquisition. The rebranding aims to position Cin7 as a leading inventory management brand, enhancing growth by consolidating marketing and sales efforts.

AdvCash

The official announcement about the rebranding of AdvCash to Volet.com was published on March 26, 2024. It states that the company changed its name and moved to new jurisdictions and licenses to simplify the launch of new products and accelerate platform development. Users are advised to log in to their accounts on the new Volet.com site using the same login and password as before.

Bronto

In April 2015, NetSuite acquired Bronto Software for $200 million. Bronto was an email marketing platform for e-commerce. The deal enhanced NetSuite’s marketing capabilities. Bronto later became part of Oracle but was shut down in 2022.

Nexmo

On June 6, 2016, Vonage completed its acquisition of Nexmo, enhancing its position in cloud communications. The $230 million deal strengthens Vonage’s capabilities in messaging and voice services, supporting its mission to lead in global communications solutions.

FreeAgent

FreeAgent CRM rebranded to Servis.ai — a new platform focused on voice control, artificial intelligence, and business process automation, evolving beyond traditional CRM functionality.

VIVAHR

VIVAHR rebranded to AvaHR — a hiring automation platform offering job posting, AI candidate screening, integrations, and intuitive tools tailored for small businesses.

Amity

The Get Amity service was discontinued due to a strategic rebrand. The company shifted focus to in-app social SDK, retiring its Customer Success product. It now operates as Social+, launched on October 15, 2024.

Prophet CRM

Wunderlist

In June 2015, Microsoft acquired the German company 6Wunderkinder, creator of the popular Wunderlist app, for approximately $100–200 million. In April 2017, Microsoft announced it would gradually discontinue Wunderlist in favor of its new Microsoft To Do app, and as of May 6, 2020, Wunderlist synchronization was completely shut down.

Conversocial was acquired by Verint in 2021 for $50 million. Its solutions have been integrated into Verint Messaging. The legal entity was dissolved in 2022. It now operates as part of the Verint platform.

Planbox Work

Planbox, a leading innovation management platform, merged with HYPE Innovation in 2024. Its solutions are now available via HYPE, offering strategic innovation management powered by AI and ISO 56000 standards.

Worldpay

Worldpay, Inc. was an American payment processing company and technology provider. In June 2019 it was acquired and merged into Fidelity National Information Services (FIS). Worldpay (formerly Vantiv), was the largest U.S. merchant acquirer ranked by general-purpose transaction volume.

Workfront

On November 9, 2020, Adobe announced a definitive agreement to acquire Workfront for US$1.5 billion. Workfront’s CEO, Alex Shootman, continued to lead the team reporting to Anil Chakravarthy. The acquisition was integrated into Adobe Experience Cloud and officially completed in early December 2020.

SendinBlue

In February 2022, LogMeIn announced its rebranding and became GoTo to emphasize its commitment to simplifying IT solutions for businesses. As a result of this rebranding, the company’s products, including join.me, were unified under the new GoTo brand.

Teem

Teem was acquired and fully integrated into Eptura, merging with iOFFICE and SpaceIQ products. The standalone Teem brand was discontinued, and its technology now exists as part of Eptura’s unified workplace experience platform, supporting global hybrid-office solutions.
