DEAR Systems

Cin7 announced a major rebranding on January 9, 2023, aligning its products under the Cin7 name. This rebranding integrates DEAR Systems as Cin7 Core and maintains Cin7 Orderhive, following their 2021 acquisition. The rebranding aims to position Cin7 as a leading inventory management brand, enhancing growth by consolidating marketing and sales efforts.

Base CRM

In 2018, Zendesk acquired Base and rebranded it as Zendesk Sell. The product now lives inside the broader Zendesk ecosystem, and you can explore its current positioning on Zendesk page at hellip.com.

ProsperWorks CRM

ProsperWorks was rebranded in 2018 as Copper. The product wasn’t shut down — it evolved. The original domain was retired, while Copper continued as the same CRM under a stronger, more scalable brand identity.

Userlike

Userlike was acquired by Lime Technologies and later repositioned under the Lime Connect brand. It was not simply shut down; instead, it evolved from a standalone live chat product into a broader AI-driven customer messaging platform with expanded omnichannel positioning.

AdvCash

The official announcement about the rebranding of AdvCash to Volet.com was published on March 26, 2024. It states that the company changed its name and moved to new jurisdictions and licenses to simplify the launch of new products and accelerate platform development. Users are advised to log in to their accounts on the new Volet.com site using the same login and password as before.

Statsbot

Statsbot appears to have been discontinued as a standalone analytics assistant. Its technology and product direction evolved into Cube, and the original statsbot.co domain now redirects to Cube, showing that the brand was effectively absorbed into the newer analytics platform.

Bronto

In April 2015, NetSuite acquired Bronto Software for $200 million. Bronto was an email marketing platform for e-commerce. The deal enhanced NetSuite’s marketing capabilities. Bronto later became part of Oracle but was shut down in 2022.

Really Simple Systems

Really Simple Systems was acquired by Spotler Group in August 2023 and then rebranded as Spotler CRM. The product did not disappear, but continued under a new brand, using the same core technology while becoming part of Spotler’s broader B2B marketing suite.

Nexmo

On June 6, 2016, Vonage completed its acquisition of Nexmo, enhancing its position in cloud communications. The $230 million deal strengthens Vonage’s capabilities in messaging and voice services, supporting its mission to lead in global communications solutions.

Clarizen

Clarizen was acquired by Planview in 2021 and rebranded into the Planview product suite as Planview AdaptiveWork (formerly Clarizen). The clarizen.com site now redirects to Planview, while the product continues under the new name.

FreeAgent

FreeAgent CRM rebranded to Servis.ai — a new platform focused on voice control, artificial intelligence, and business process automation, evolving beyond traditional CRM functionality.

YayPay

YayPay was acquired by Quadient and folded into Quadient’s Business Process Automation/Accounts Receivable automation portfolio. The standalone brand shifted under Quadient, and the yaypay.com domain now redirects to Quadient’s AR automation pages, reflecting the integration.

VIVAHR

VIVAHR rebranded to AvaHR — a hiring automation platform offering job posting, AI candidate screening, integrations, and intuitive tools tailored for small businesses.

Abacus

Abacus was acquired by Certify, then folded into a broader travel-and-expense portfolio that later rebranded as Emburse. Its technology and core product vision now live on as Emburse Spend, while the original Abacus brand and standalone app were retired.

Amity

The Get Amity service was discontinued due to a strategic rebrand. The company shifted focus to in-app social SDK, retiring its Customer Success product. It now operates as Social+, launched on October 15, 2024.

Prophet CRM

Oribi was acquired by LinkedIn in 2022 and integrated into their marketing tools. The service is no longer available to external users. Oribi’s technology is now used exclusively within LinkedIn.
