Moxtra era una piattaforma sicura per l'interazione con i clienti e la collaborazione, progettata per aziende ad alto contatto che necessitavano di maggiore controllo rispetto all'email, chat generiche e link a drive condivisi. La sua offerta principale era un portale clienti brandizzato (spesso commercializzato come OneStop Portal) dove i team interni e i clienti esterni potevano comunicare e completare il lavoro all'interno di uno spazio di lavoro unico e auditabile. Si rivolgeva a settori regolamentati e ad alta intensità di servizi come finanza e gestione patrimoniale, servizi legali e immobiliare, dove la privacy, i permessi e la conformità sono importanti. Offriva opzioni di integrazione affinché le aziende potessero collegare il portale a sistemi CRM, gestione dei casi o back-office e automatizzare i passaggi in modo sicuro.
In pratica, le aziende creavano spazi di lavoro per i clienti con accesso basato su ruoli, messaggistica criptata, scambio di file strutturato e riunioni online. La piattaforma supportava flussi di interazione end-to-end come onboarding, raccolta di documenti, approvazioni e richieste di servizio, in modo che un cliente potesse caricare file, compilare moduli, fare domande e firmare documenti senza dover passare tra diversi strumenti. Mantenendo insieme conversazioni, documenti e attività, Moxtra mirava a ridurre il caos del tipo "dove si trova quel file?", accorciare i tempi di risposta e creare un sistema di registrazione più chiaro.
Molte implementazioni enfatizzavano una sensazione di "filiale virtuale": un'esperienza coerente e brandizzata a cui i clienti potevano accedere su web e mobile, progettata per mantenere le relazioni calde mentre i processi rimangono rigorosi per entrambe le parti.
