Batchbook was eventually discontinued as a standalone CRM product. Its users were guided toward migrating their data and workflows to Pipeline CRM. The original Batchbook brand faded from the CRM market, while the domain and name no longer represent the former active SaaS platform.

Batchbook was a social CRM platform created for small businesses that needed a simpler way to manage relationships, contacts and customer conversations. Instead of focusing only on sales pipelines, Batchbook positioned itself around people, context and communication history. It helped teams store customer profiles, organize contacts with tags and custom fields, track interactions, create lists, manage follow-ups and understand how different people were connected to the business.

The project was especially relevant for small teams that did not want the complexity of larger CRM systems. Batchbook offered a more approachable way to keep customer information in one place, combine contact management with light sales organization, and build a clearer view of relationships over time. It was often described as a “social CRM” because it aimed to connect traditional customer records with social and conversational context.

For freelancers, consultants, agencies, nonprofits and small companies, Batchbook acted as a practical relationship database. It gave users a structured but flexible environment for managing leads, clients, partners and supporters without forcing them into a heavy enterprise workflow.
