Kanbanize, Kanban metodolojisi etrafında inşa edilmiş, Bulgaristan kökenli bir proje ve portföy yönetim platformuydu. Takımların süreçlerini dijital panolara haritalandırmalarına, işin ilerlemesini sınırlandırmalarına ve akışı optimize etmelerine yardımcı olan görsel bir iş akışı aracı olarak başladı. Zamanla, basit bir Kanban panosunun ötesine geçerek, ekipler arası koordinasyonu, otomasyon kurallarını, analitikleri ve kurumsal portföy görünürlüğünü destekleyen daha gelişmiş bir sisteme evrildi.

Önemli bir farklılaştırıcı, "akış verimliliği" ve ölçülebilir yürütme performansına odaklanmasıydı; kendisini hafif görev yöneticileri ile ağır kurumsal PM paketleri arasında konumlandırdı.
Kanbanize, Lean ve Agile'ı ölçekli olarak benimseyen operasyon ekipleri, BT departmanları ve dönüşüme odaklanan şirketler arasında ilgi gördü. Şeffaflık, öngörülebilirlik ve strateji ile günlük işler arasındaki uyuma vurgu yaptı. Platform, zamanla portföy yönetimi ve kurumsal iş akışı orkestrasyonuna genişleyerek, yapılandırılmış ortamlarda Jira, Monday.com ve Azure DevOps gibi araçlarla rekabet etti.
Kısacası, Kanbanize, bir Kanban panosu aracından daha geniş bir kurumsal iş yönetim sistemine dönüşen bir iş akışı yürütme platformuydu.
