Swivle nie został całkowicie wycofany. Produkt został wchłonięty w szerszą ofertę DAM firmy WoodWing i przemianowany na WoodWing Assets 10. Jego podstawowa idea kontynuowana jest jako nowoczesne rozwiązanie do zarządzania zasobami cyfrowymi w chmurze pod marką WoodWing.
Swivle był opartą na chmurze platformą zarządzania zasobami cyfrowymi stworzoną przez WoodWing dla zespołów, które potrzebowały prostego, dostępnego sposobu na przechowywanie, organizowanie, znajdowanie, udostępnianie i ponowne wykorzystywanie plików cyfrowych. Usługa była pozycjonowana jako lżejsze, bardziej elastyczne rozwiązanie DAM dla zespołów marketingowych, działów kreatywnych, wydawców, agencji i menedżerów marek, którzy pracowali z dużymi wolumenami obrazów, filmów, dokumentów, plików projektowych i materiałów kampanijnych.
Platforma koncentrowała się na ułatwieniu zarządzania bibliotekami mediów bez konieczności wdrażania ciężkiej infrastruktury przedsiębiorstw. Użytkownicy mogli przesyłać zasoby, dodawać metadane, tworzyć kolekcje, wyszukiwać pliki, kontrolować dostęp i dzielić się zatwierdzonymi materiałami z zespołami wewnętrznymi lub zewnętrznymi partnerami. Zamiast marnować czas na szukanie najnowszego logo, zdjęcia produktu, broszury czy pliku wideo, zespoły mogły przechowywać swoje zasoby w jednym zorganizowanym środowisku.
Swivle był szczególnie przydatny dla organizacji, które potrzebowały możliwości DAM, ale chciały bardziej przyjaznego dla użytkownika i opartego na chmurze produktu niż tradycyjne systemy przedsiębiorstw.
