Сервіс позиціювався як легше, більш гнучке рішення DAM для маркетингових команд, креативних відділів, видавців, агентств і менеджерів брендів, які працювали з великими обсягами зображень, відео, документів, дизайнерських файлів та матеріалів кампаній.
Платформа зосереджувалася на спрощенні управління медіа-бібліотеками, не вимагаючи важкої корпоративної настройки. Користувачі могли завантажувати активи, додавати метадані, створювати колекції, шукати файли, контролювати доступ і ділитися затвердженими матеріалами з внутрішніми командами або зовнішніми партнерами. Swivle також підтримував портали брендів, контроль версій, дозволи, попередні перегляди та робочі процеси, пов'язані з затвердженням і розповсюдженням активів.
Його основна цінність полягала в зменшенні хаосу розкиданих файлів по папках, хмарних дисках, електронній пошті та локальних пристроях.
