On desktop, Home now integrates your Notion Calendar events, related documents, and direct links to upcoming meetings. This seamless view eliminates the need to switch contexts, keeping you in the flow as you manage your schedule and preparations effortlessly.

Enhanced Sidebar Organization

We've upgraded one of the most utilized aspects of Notion: the sidebar. The Private and Shared sections now feature a dedicated panel for better organization, sorting, and searching of pages. This panel reduces clutter by limiting the number of displayed pages, so you can navigate without endless scrolling.

Effortless Navigation with a New Floating Table of Contents

Navigating lengthy content is now more intuitive with our new floating table of contents. If your Notion page includes headings, simply hover over the right side of the screen to quickly jump to the desired section, improving efficiency in your workflow.

Improved URL Previews

Long URLs are a thing of the past. Notion now supports short previews that display a favicon, the author, and the page title. Just paste a link and select "Paste as mention" to create a clean and informative preview.

Focused Time and Out-of-Office Events

Responding to popular demand, you can now add focus time and out-of-office (OOO) events directly to your Notion Calendar. This feature helps you allocate time effectively, ensuring better productivity and balance.

Additional Quality-of-Life Enhancements

• Pin Frequently Used Pages: Use the desktop app to pin essential pages, such as a to-do list, to the top left for quick access. Just right-click on an open tab and select "Pin tab."
• Faster Database Views: Databases grouped by select, status, multi-select, person, or relation properties now load faster, improving overall efficiency.
• Advanced Filters for Locked Databases: Viewers of locked databases can now utilize advanced filters to locate specific information quickly.
